Terms and Conditions: Kanavu Illam

1 Acceptance and Eligibility

By using Kanavu Illam (the “Service”) you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be 18 or older and legally able to enter a contract. You are responsible for your account and all activity under it.

2 Nature of Service

Kanavu Illam is an automated planning aid offering floor plan reading, 3D visualization, Vastu scoring and preliminary cost and structural estimates for Ground Floor plans only. It is not professional engineering, architectural or legal advice. Reports do not replace licensed civil engineers, soil tests or municipal approvals. Computer vision may misread plans or dimensions, and Vastu scores are for cultural reference only. Always verify with a licensed professional before building. Use of any report is at your own risk.

3 Pricing and No-Refund Policy

• Fee: ₹500 per project upload (Ground Floor plan), inclusive of taxes, displayed before payment. We may change prices for future purchases.
• No cash refunds: the fee covers immediate server processing and PDF compilation. All payments are non-refundable once analysis begins.
• Technical failure: if a verified technical error on our side prevents report delivery, email support@kanavuillam.in within 7 days with your Order ID for one free re-processing of the same plan.
• Duplicate or incorrect charges: contact us with your Order ID; any amount found to be wrongly charged will be reversed to your original payment method.

4 User Responsibility Before Download

Because our system enforces strict data privacy and automatically purges all computational results within 24 hours, you are responsible for maintaining an active internet connection and completing your download immediately. The Company cannot restore or re-process reports that were not saved due to user device closure, connection loss, or app deletion prior to download. By using the Service, you confirm that you have read these Terms and agree to complete your download before leaving the output screen.

5 Intellectual Property and Acceptable Use

The Company owns the app, 3D visualizer, algorithms and branding. You retain ownership of your uploaded floor plans and grant us permission to process them only to provide the Service. After your report is generated, you receive a personal, non-exclusive licence to view, download, print and share your PDF. You must not scrape, reverse engineer, copy our algorithms, overload our servers, upload unlawful or infringing files, access others’ data, or bypass payment or security controls.

6 Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including construction defects, contractor disputes, foundation issues or cost overruns arising from automated estimates, or for outages of third-party providers or events beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the transaction concerned. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

7 Indemnity

You agree to indemnify the Company against claims, losses and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your uploaded content.

8 Accounts and Deletion

You may delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete Account) or at kanavuillam.in/delete-account, subject to records we must retain by law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9 Changes

We may update these Terms by posting them with a new date. Continued use means acceptance.

10 Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Please write to support@kanavuillam.in first so we can try to resolve the matter within 30 days. Otherwise, the courts at Erode jurisdiction, Tamil Nadu, India have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any right you have to approach a consumer commission. If any clause is unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
